HMS COURAGEOUS is scheduled for disposal and without action will eventually be scrapped. However, there is strong support for the permanent preservation of HMS COURAGEOUS as an exhibit in Devonport dockyard, but saving HMS COURAGEOUS alone is not sufficient. A small team led by Rear Admiral John Weale is therefore developing a more ambitious project to tell the Cold War story of submarines and Plymouth based ships. We spoke to Commander Ian Whitehouse about the plans.
