Soft play centre blames coronavirus for closure

The parent company of Drake's Den and Little Berries Nursery has gone into liquidation

A soft-play centre in Estover and children's nursery in Derriford have ceased trading, blaming the financial implications of the coronavirus lockdown.

The parent company of Drake's Den and the Little Berries Day Care Nursery has gone into liquidation, after having no income for the last four months.

PTS Leisure Limited said it was left with no other option. In a statement posted on Facebook, staff said:

"Both of these businesses have been our and our families lives for the last 11 years. We would personally like to thank all of our staff (some of whom have been with us since day one) for their hard work and dedication and all of our customers and families who have celebrated birthdays with us over the years."
