Police issue appeal appeal following sexual assault in Plymouth

    A woman was attacked in the vicinity of Devonport Park last month

    Police are seeking information following a sexual assault which happened in the vicinity of Devonport Park in Plymouth on Thursday 6 August.

    At around 6pm, a woman was walking near the park when she was followed by an unknown male who then sexually assaulted her.

    The male is described as white, approximately 18 years of age. He was around 5ft 6ins tall, of a slim build and spoke with a local accent.

    He had short dark hair and is missing a front tooth. He was carrying a distinctive ‘man bag’ across his body with a criss-cross pattern embedded on it.
