Plymouth family lose everything in house fire

    Plymouth Party Princesses are appealing for donations to help get them back up on their feet

    A local company is appealing for donations after a family lost everything in a house fire this week.

    Plymouth Party Princesses are looking for a number of items to help them out.

    On Tuesday night, an accidental blaze broke out in the basement of the property in Barton Avenue, Keyham.

    Four people were taken to hospital for precautionary checks following smoke inhalation.

    The items Plymouth Party Princesses are hoping to donate include:

    • Women’s clothing size 14 - and spare nursing tops
    • Men’s size large clothing
    • A baby monitor 
    • Toys that are working for a baby up to 7 years
    • Blankets/sleeping bags for the baby
