Firefighters tackle blaze at train station

    It broke out in Ivybridge on Tuesday evening

    Firefighters tackled a large blaze at Ivybridge train station last night (2 June). 

    Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that two crews from Totnes and Ivybridge were sent to extinguish it at around 9.05pm. 

    Trains were immediately stopped in both directions and were able to resume again at around 11pm with some disruption.
