It is the latest in a string of schools in Plymouth that has confirmed a COVID-19 case

Another Plymouth school has sent a year group home after a positive coronavirus test.

Year 5 at Leigham Primary are now self-isolating as a result.

The school say that they have been in contact with Public Health England (PHE) and the City Council, who have advised that both children and staff in the child's bubble will need to remain in quarantine.

Those affected have been told that they cannot return to school until Thursday 24 September, which will be 14 days after they last had any potential contact with the child in question.

The children will still be able to continue their learning from home.
