Workshop for All Clear!
Multiple dates from Sunday, February 17th to Sunday, February 24th
“1943. The Plymouth Blitz. The Devonport communal shelter has become a safe haven for all those stuck outside during the late afternoon air raid. With hours to spare before the all clear anything could happen. Jokes are told, songs are sung, anything is done to lift up the poor civilian’s spirit. All sorts of people from all walks of life sit it out, and boy do they have some things to say to one another! With nowhere to go until the signal, this group of people are desperately waiting for the All Clear.”
Following on from the success of 2017’s "Don’t Ask", KadCat Theatre Company now present a brand-new musical play for the community "All Clear!" For this production we have decided to have two weeks of casting workshops which are open to both members and future members of the company. In these workshops we shall not only cast the play, but also teach skills in character building, communal singing, choreography and improvisation… with hopefully some fun and games thrown in for good measure!
For more information about or being a part of the workshops or the show itself then please email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone or text 07849106151.
