EVENT: Military Night / Fund raiser
TIME: 10pm – 3am
PLACE: The Warehouse club (next to C103) Union Street Plymouth
DETAILS: A night for the Armed Forces of Plymouth and a fund raiser, admission is £3 before 11pm £4 after with a warrant card or non military £4 before midnight and £5 after. It is starting this Saturday night (31st March) and every Saturday night afterwards. 20% of the door each week will be split between the British Legion / The Royal Marines Charitable Trust / The Royal Naval Benevolent Fund / Help for Heroes. We choose these charities as the cover all of the armed forces in one way or another. The idea for a Military night came about while I was talking to some young marines based at RM Barracks Bickliegh they asked me why every club seemed to run specific nights for students but no club ran a night aimed at the services. After I ran the idea by the management of the Warehouse Venue and got them to agree the night was born with a twist We would return 20% of the door to service charities and provided the same drink deals as the students receive. The music policy will be a mixed bag of tunes played by myself, so please help us and help those who serve us.
