Hi! I'm Dave, I was born and raised in this wonderful city; grew up in Crownhill and live and breathe Plymouth!
I love music, radio and chocolate, but hate spiders, rude people and bad drivers! (so annoying!)
I consider myself to be extremely lucky as I do a job I love, get to play some great music as well as have fun at the same time.
I started my radio career at Hospital Radio Plymouth in July 2000, presenting a weekly show to the patients of Derriford Hospital for many years.
In 2005 I was offered my first full time radio programme, the late show on Radio Ceredigion, a radio station serving the West Coast of Wales - a gamble that has certainly paid off! I've also presented the Breakfast Show on Radio Pembrokeshire, Drive Time on South Hams Radio and also worked at Orchard FM for a time, but there's no place like home!
Outside of radio I love to catch up with friends and enjoy nights out at my favourite part of Plymouth, the Barbican. I also enjoy quiet nights in and spending time with the people who matter to me- my family.
I'd love for you to join me every Saturday between 10am and 2pm and for Sunday Breakfast from 7-11am for a mix of fun, competitions and the very best music! I also pop up when other presenters are on holiday or off sick.
