Volunteers take part in cycle ride fundraiser for the RNLI

RNLI volunteers are cycling from Plymouth to Newlyn in Cornwall, stopping at lifeboat stations along their 125 mile route, to fundraise for the charity.

Volunteers are hoping they can raise enough money to replace all their life jackets which costs around £7000.

Plymothians will today be able to explore an inshore lifeboat set up in the city centre and find out more about what the volunteers do, as part of SOS Day.
