Two hundred thousand pound payment due to Argyle from mystery consortium

Plymouth Argyle administrator Brendan Guilfoyle could start talking to other potential bidders today if a crucial payment to the club doesn't  materialise.

The mystery consortium are due to give around two hundred thousand pounds to the club following an earlier million pound payment to gain exclusivity.

The fans' trust has raised concerns about the continuing secrecy and the involvement of Truro City chairman Kevin Heaney.

South east councillor Paul Buttivant is still interested and James Brent hasn't ruled out buying the club as a last resort.
