Tributes for Plymouth born lorry driver killed in M5 crash

Tributes have been paid to a 38 year old lorry driver, who was born in Plymouth, who died in Friday's M5 crash.

Kye Thomas was driving one of the Ginsters lorries from Callington to Bristol when it happened.

Mr Thomas was born in Plymstock and went to Coombe Dean school - he also served in the King's Royal Hussars in the late 80s and early 90s.

He leaves behind his wife Rebecca, two sons and two daughters - they now live near Gunnislake.

A friend of Mr Thomas' left a tribute on Facebook which reads, 'our hearts go out to Rebecca and the children, another great person gone, we're going to miss you.'

Investigations into the cause of the Somerset crash are continuing.
