Torpoint waiting to find out if they're in the record books for Jubilee bunting

Residents of Torpoint are waiting to find out whether their Diamond Jubilee flags are going to fly them into the record books.

Their four thousand seven hundred metre line of bunting easily beat the existing record for the longest continuous string of flags - but other communities including some in the West country have also been trying to set a new record.

They're all submitting their officially-verified figures to the Guinness World of Records, and will find out in four to six weeks who's come out on top.
