Under 18s in Plymouth will no longer be able to use sunbeds.

The high risk of skin cancer associated with tanning beds has led to a government ban on youngsters using them.

Tanning salons could be fined up to £20,000 if they ignore the law.

And NHS officials warn sun burn at a young age means you're 75 per cent more likely to get the cancer.

Devon has some of the highest skin cancer rates in the country and Steven Brown from NHS Devon says it could be because we have an ageing population and more hours of sun than other areas.
