Pregnant women particularly vulnerable to domestic violence, according to Devon and Cornwall Police

More than 60 healthcare experts in Devon will receive extra training to spot the signs of domestic violence.

It's domestic abuse awareness week and Devon and Cornwall police say pregnant women are particularly at risk.

Up to nine in every one hundred pregnant women have been affected by domestic violence.

Now officers are urging people to look out for the signs that there is abuse in a relationship - jealous behaviour and cyber stalking can indicate a problem.

People being abused often become increasingly isolated, but many will have been attacked several times before they tell anyone.
