Plympton police say they're close to catching those responsible for defacing the town's brand new library.

CCTV footage shows a group of four youths who officers say could be behind the damage.

Plympton residents have expressed their anger and disgust at the graffiti, which included images of a sexual nature.

The library's only been open for a few weeks; it replaced the old one which burnt down in 2008.
