Plymouth sprinter inspires next generation of athletes

Plymouth sprinter Kathryn Endacott says she's looking forward now after missing out on a place in the Olympic squad.

Last night she was the guest of honour at the Stoke Damerel sports personality of the year award.

Amongst those honoured was Natasha Mead, who is visually impaired, but has represented her country for the Blind Sport federation and came fourth in the 100 and 200 metres.

Kathryn didn't make it into Team GB after suffering a number of injuries, but will now focus on the World indoor championships and the Commonwealth Games in 2014.
