Plymouth classical singer likely to be Olympic torchbearer

Plymouth singing star Poppy Mills says she hopes her selection as an olympic torchbearer will inspire other young people.

The fifteen year old classical singer discovered yesterday that she was through to the final stages of selection.

Poppy has performed at numerous charity concerts and is due to start on a music scholarship at Wells Cathedral school next year.

The teenager has also helped to raise money for St Luke's Hospice.
