Plymouth businesses await Chancellor's Autumn statement

A Plymouth businessleader says he would like to see red tape reduced in the Chancellor's Autumn statement today.

George Osborne is also expected to announce a thirty billion pound building programme to boost growth, which could be good news for the proposed Kingskerswell bypass.

Smaller firms say they will also welcome any postponement of fuel duty increases.

George Osborne is also likely to reveal a reduction in the South West's water bills.

Chief executive of Plymouth's chamber of commerce David Parlby says reducing the bureaucracy that firms have to go through would give them a boost financially.
