Plymouth Argyle in court over unpaid tax

Plymouth Argyle face another High court appearance over unpaid tax today but that appears to be the least of their worries.

The club has already paid off more than three quarters of a million pounds to HMRC, but still owes millions of pounds to creditors and is expecting another six figure tax bill at the end of this month.

Peter Ridsdale is still in talks with potential investors, but has ended his day to day involvement in the club  - it's after the money from the Japanese directors failed to materialise.

The new supporters' trust has said it is willing to sit on the board or offer further assistance if required.
