Plymouth Argyle appears in court.

Plymouth Argyle will appear in court this morning in a surprise hearing at the companies court in London.

The exact nature of the hearing isn't known, although there  are fears it could involve one of Argyle's creditors.

Today the club's board will meet to decide its future as its notice to appoint an administrator runs out on Monday.

Office staff have described it as the most important meeting in the club's 124 year history.

They can go into administration, apply for more time to talk to potential investors, or present a plan to keep the club afloat if this is possible.

The board itself is believed to be deeply divided over this and staff have called on them to put aside personal interests.
