Olympic torch to pass through Plymouth

The Olympic torch will be in Plymouth a year tomorrow.

It's been announced this morning that the relay ahead of the Olympics will start in Land's End and make its way through Cornwall before arriving in Plymouth on the 19th of May 2012.

The relay will take 70 days and cover 8-thousand miles, culminating in the arrival of the torch at London's Olympic stadium on the 27th of July.

Plymouth is the first of 66 locations where celebrations will be held across the UK.
