Occupy Plymouth could be evicted.

The Occupy Plymouth movement could be evicted from their new camp at the old job centre.

A hearing will take place at the county court, after the owners of the building applied for a possession order.

Occupy Plymouth started their campaign on November 5th, when they set up camp in the jigsaw garden by Drake Circus.

But as the winter weather set in, their numbers dwindled - and they decided it was time to move elsewhere.

The 'anti greed' campaigners moved into the old job centre on Buckwell Street on December 11th.

Telereal Trillium - the company that owns the building - say they have NOT given the group permission to use or occupy the building - and it's not yet known how they accessed the site.

The company applied for a possession order last week.

A hearing's taking place later at the County Court to decide whether to grant that order - it could mean the campaigners being evicted.
