New Argyle board revealed and fans offered stake in club

Plymouth Argyle owner James Brent has revealed his new board to fans this morning and has offered the fans' trust a twenty per cent stake in the club.

Mr Brent will remain as chair for the time being, while Martin Baker will become the finance director and acting chief executive. Former vice chair Peter Jones will take up a non executive directorship, along with Richard Holliday and David Felwick.

The formation of a new Green Army supervisory board was also announced, which will mean fans meet with the main board regularly to ask questions and challenge anything they are unhappy with.

The fans' trust has also been offered a twenty per cent stake in the club, which they will now consider.

Further information on some of the other board members has also been given - Richard Holliday arranged Arsenal's Emirates bonding and is a managing director at RBS.David Felwick is a former chair of the British Retail consortium.
