More potential Argyle bidders come forward

A handful of new potential bidders have come forward to express an interest in taking over Plymouth Argyle.

Administrator Brendan Guilfoyle has acknowledged that they have joined the race rather late in the game.

Devon businessman James Brent is the only person to prove to administrators that he has the necessary funds so far.

Talks are still underway with an Irish consortium and South east businessman Paul Buttivant ahead of a creditors' meeting on Friday.

But Brendan Guilfoyle says Mr Buttivant still hasn't convinced him he has the funds to make his offer a reality.
