Men convicted of Plymouth armed robbery to be sentenced today

Two men will be sentenced today for the armed robbery and shooting of a Plymouth man.

43 year old Gary Ball from Beacon Park was found guilty yesterday of robbery, possession of a firearm and grievous bodily harm. 42 year old Mark Gagen had already pleaded guilty to the offences.

Colin Pester was shot in the stomach at his home in Whitleigh on April 30th 2008 - he survived but suffered life altering injuries.

Both men will be sentenced today at Plymouth Crown court.
