Talented musicians will go head to head in Plymouth this afternoon in the regional finals of Live and Unsigned.

Over 10-thousand acts auditioned - and today sixty of the best from across the south west will perform at the Guildhall in the regional finals.

Each act will perform two pieces of music - one cover and one original piece.

Only 15 of them will make it through to the area finals and the next step after that is the grand final at the O2 arena in London.

The winner gets a recording contract and up to £50,000 investment.

There are three shows today at 12:30pm, 4:30pm and 8:00pmand each of them will feature around twenty acts.

Tickets must be purchased in advance.
