Get the takeover deal completed now, say Argyle fans

Plymouth Argyle fans are calling on the club's administrators to get the takeover deal completed now.

After a week of silence from the administrator, key players like captain Carl Fletcher and goalkeeper Romain Larrieu threatened to boycot Saturday's match against Burton Albion if they didn't get paid.

The administrators are in control of the money that comes in through the sale of season tickets and any collected at the gates on home match days.

They confirmed on Friday that 40% of player and staff wages had been transferred into their bank accounts but many are asking why it took the threat of strikes for players and staff to get paid.

Fans are calling on the administrator to get the deal completed or turn to James Brent's rescue plan, which is being back by the Fans' Trust.

In a statement last week, the administrators said the legal formalities were taking longer than planned but they were still confident the deal would be completed 'shortly'.
