Four in court for Exeter Street disorder

Four people will appear before Plymouth magistrates today charged in connection with a serious disorder outside a pub on Exeter street. 

Police were called to reports of disorder outside the Wild Coyote pub on the 31st of July - there were also reports of a disturbance outside the Istanbul takeaway next door.

Four local people were charged in connection with the incident.

28 year old Kelly Watterson from Manadon and 27 year old Hayley Wells from Leigham are both facing charges of racially aggravated common assault.

Meanwhile, Michael Rafferty, 33, from Devonport and Ricky Burley, 43, from Stonehouse are accused of obstructing a police officer.

Burley is also charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
