Fire at derelict Plymouth school

Fire crews have been tackling a blaze at a derelict school in Plymouth.

They were called to the old Southway primary school at Bampfylde road at around four o'clock this afternoon.

At one stage around a quarter of the building was well alight and the blaze had spread to the roof.

No one was injured but there was some evidence of bonfires being set inside the building.

Crews stood down just before 10pm.
