Commuters will face problems getting into Cornwall today after a train hit a fallen tree.

The incident happened in the last hour, when the sleeper train was involved in the accident near Lostwithiel.

It means all rail services between Plymouth and Penzance have been suspended and a replacement bus service is being arranged.

The public transport office says the line is likely to be disrupted for some time as the train is damaged.
