Deal struck between Argyle administrators and James Brent

A deal has been done between Plymouth Argyle's administrators and Devon busienssman James Brent.

It means the club is another step closer to leaving administration - it's hoped this could happen by the end of the day.

The administrators the P and A partnership have released a statement in the last hour saying they are delighted to have agreed a deal...and that they , like many others, have waived a signifcant amount of their fees to ensure the survival of the club.

They added that they would like to thank everyone for their patience and support.

The Fans' trust have said they're very happy a deal has been struck.

The football league now needs to approve the deal so that the club can leave administration.
