Cornwall College sets tuition fees for 2012

New students at Cornwall College will be paying £6000 a year in tuition fees from 2012.

The college, which is based in Saltash, has become the latest institution to announce plans to raise its fees.

The University of Plymouth has already revealed its plans to charge £9000 a year - but City College Plymouth are yet to announce their fees.

Principal of Cornwall College, David Linnell, says charging students £6000 "will enable those wanting a high quality university-level education to receive it at an affordable rate".

The College say financial help will be made available for all students who need it.
