City Council reminds residents to recycle over festive period

Plymouth residents are being reminded to recycle as much as they can over the festive period.

Last year, more than 2000 tonnes was recycled over the Christmas period.

Locals are reminded that lots of our waste can go in the green bin, and Christmas trees can be recycled at Chelson Meadow or Weston Mill.

According to Plymouth City Council recycling rates are improving and 36% of the city's waste was recycled instead of going to landfill this year.
