Plymouth's Tom Daley missed out on a medal in his first event at London 2012.

He and partner Pete Waterfield came fourth in the 10 metre  platform synchro final - China took the Gold.

It was their fourth dive of six which lost it for them .

Tom now competes in the individual event on the 10th and 11th August.

Plymouth's Rory Warlow has a lot of work to do if he's to qualify for the men's skeet final tomorrow.

He finished fourteenth in the initial qualifying rounds and will compete again tomorrow - he needs to finish in the top six.

Fencer Corinna Lawrence went out of the women's epee in the second round.

She was beaten by Simona Gherman from Romania .
