Argyle negotiations continue

Negotiations are continuing between potential bidders for Plymouth Argyle and administrator Brendan Guilfoyle.

Devon businessman James Brent has already acknowledged this week that he is in the running, although he made it clear that he would step aside if a more appropriate bid came along.

There have been rumours that south east businessman Paul Buttivant is also interested, although no formal statements have been issued.

Communications officer for the Argyle fans' trust Chris Webb says he feels James Brent's possible offer would be the best way to go because it's most in keeping with what fans and the city council want for the ground.
