Argyle fans hoping deal will be finalised today

Plymouth Argyle fans are hoping to hear the deal to buy the club has been signed today.

On Friday it was revealed that Bishop International had the funds in place, but they still need football league approval.

Lawyers were working on the deal over the Bank holiday weekend.

If it goes through, the club will be out of administration and able to buy more players.

Bishop International, chaired by Kevin Heaney, would own the ground and land, while Peter Ridsdale would own the club and be in charge of footballing matters.
