Argyle court order thrown out, say sources

Sources close to Plymouth Argyle say the court order requested yesterday to force the club's preferred bidder to provide more funding was thrown out.

Bishop International appeared at court in Manchester as the administrator tried to force them to pay £230,000 for staff wages.

The club says staff have not been asked to defer their August wages as yet.

Administrator Brendan Guilfoyle had said previously that he would explore other options such as selling players, to obtain the money.

The fans' trust is urging supporters to meet with them on Saturday morning at the Guildhall - Brendan Guilfoyle and Peter Ridsdale have already agreed to attend.

The meeting starts at 11.30am.
