If a buyer is found for Plymouth Argyle, they could be unveiled in the next couple of days.

Potential buyers have until noon today to get their bids in and there are believed to be a handful of serious offers.

Rumours have been rife about whether these involve any former directors or Peter Ridsdale himself, but none of them have been confirmed as yet.

Meanwhile the Argyle supporters' trust has released a statement urging the preferred bidder to engage with them as soon as possible.

They say they have invited them to their meeting this Saturday at the Guildhall.
