Argyle bidder has until tomorrow to provide money for staff wages

Plymouth Argyle's preferred bidder has until tomorrow to provide the funds to pay staff wages.

The club's administrator told 600 fans at the Pavilions on Saturday that he had asked Bishop International for further proof of funds and that acting chairman Peter Ridsdale had until Friday to gain the football league's approval.

Fans wanted to know whether Mr Guilfoyle would give Plymouth businessman James Brent enough time to step in if this deal fell through, but were told he couldn't give them a time frame for this.

Mr Guilfoyle says he also can't give fans a final date when the deal has to be completed.

The Fans' trust says it was disappointed that the administrator could not give them clearer answers.
