Argyle bidder due to provide more money today

The consortium behind plans to buy Plymouth Argyle has been told to provide funds for staff wages by today.

It's hoped the whole deal, including football league approval, will be completed by Friday.

If this deal falls through, administrator Brendan Guilfoyle says there will be very little time for Plymouth businessman James Brent to prove he has enough money to step in.

The administrator wouldn't be drawn on how long he will allow the club to keep trading under the current circumstances.
