Argyle administrator hopeful creditors will sign agreement

Plymouth Argyle could find themselves with another points deduction unless the majority of their creditors sign up to a new agreement.

Letters are being sent out today inviting all those owed money by the club to a meeting on May 6th.

Three quarters need to agree to get just a penny back on every pound they are owed - if this happens the wheels can be set in motion for a new owner to take over.

If they don't, the changeover will be delayed and the club will face another points deduction.

An Irish consortium has expressed an interest in the club, but administrator Brendan Guilfoyle says he still doesn't know that much about them.
