Americas cup team visit Plymouth to plan route

The team organising Plymouth's stage of the Americas cup this autumn say they will be returning to the city in the summer to continue their preparations.

Yesterday they began mapping out the course and checking out the best vantage points for spectators.

The Americas cup is the oldest trophy in international sport and Plymouth has been chosen to host ten days of the sailing event in September.

They say they will be produciogn guides so that boating enthusiasts know where they can and can't go.
