America's Cup competitors prepare for first race tomorrow

Today is the last opportunity for America's Cup teams to get some practise in before racing gets underway in Plymouth Sound tomorrow.

There are nine teams taking part, including two from France and two from the USA. There are no British teams taking part, although a number of British sailors are involved.

The preliminary races take place over the weekend, with match racing beginning in earnest on Wednesday - the final fleet races then take place next weekend.

Locals will be able to watch from the Hoe and there will also be public access to the race village at Millbay.
