Air southwest to stop all Plymouth flights

Air southwest are pulling out of Plymouth airport.

The airline is ceasing all its flights to and from the city from September 14th.

August flights have already been transferred to Newquay airport because Plymouth's military radar will be unavailable.

It's understood flights will not return to Plymouth airport after this. They will be operated from Newquay until the end of September, by which time all air southwest flights to and from that airport will have been terminated.

Plymouth airport's due to close completely in December unless a new operator is found.
