29 commando complete first month in Afghanistan

Plymouth soldiers believe poppy harvesting is keeping things quiet out on the front line in Afghanistan.

Two nine commando are a month into their six month deployment to Helmand Province.

They're now being kept on high alert following the death of Osama Bin Laden.

It's believed the poppy harvest often leads to a quieter period because many insurgents leave the battlefield to help.

Some of 29 commando have remained in Plymouth and took part in a charity rowathon at Drake Circus last week.
