£350k will be spent on car park refurb

Plans to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds to refurbish a Plymouth car park have been given the green light by city councillors.

Work will start over the summer to revamp Western Approach car park.

£350,000 will be spent on introducing a pay on foot system, new lighting and CCTV system.

The Theatre Royal and Regent Street multi-story car parks have already been modernised.

It's claimed the investment will 'pay for itself' - the refurb should be completed in september.
